Our bus was born in England in 1980 just like the famous performer Keira Knightley who starred in the Pirates of the Caribbean Movies. Over the years she has been painted green, blue and finally a brilliant beautiful red (our bus, not Ms. Knightley). She seats about 65 people with 44 seats on top and 21 seats on the lower level.
The bus roof is intact, although upper level windows have been removed. This means the bus is "open air", but not "open top". When inclement weather strikes, which can in Buffalo, we employ roll down vinyl windows that use Velcro to stay in place.
One thing riders may notice is that the bus has some character marks, a few blemishes and some scratches. Be kind and remember that you probably have the same imperfections and you were born before 1980! When you come aboard, make certain you have the right expectations and appreciate the authentic experience of this double decker bus.
According to our owner's manual, here is a list of famous people who are believed to have ridden on our bus:
How many miles are on our bus? We don't know because the odometer is in kilometers. It's safe to say that there are a lot of miles because the bus was driven all the way from London to the United States, which is very tricky. We love our humble bus and are happy to be the first company to bring a double decker to Buffalo.
The bus is operated by the caring professionals at 716 Limousine of Buffalo. If you are looking for the best corporate transportation and limousines in Buffalo, call 716 Limo.
PS-the bus is named Jenny. If you want to know why, ask your tour guide.
