Go behind the scenes on an exclusive new tour exploring the captivating people and opulent spaces of Buffalo's glittering Gilded Age.
Our journey begins at the magnificent Richardson Hotel—Buffalo’s former sprawling Psychiatric Asylum. We tour the beautifully renovated portions of the hotel, including a sneak peek at some of its premier suites.
From there, we’ve secured exclusive, special access to the unfinished sections of the asylum. Frozen in time, these restricted areas offer a hauntingly authentic glimpse into what daily life was truly like for the patients. (Hard hats will be provided!)
Next, we’ll hop aboard our double-decker bus to cruise down "Millionaire's Mile." As we pass through this ultra-exclusive neighborhood along Delaware Avenue, you'll hear fascinating stories of the scandals, triumphs, and daily lives of Buffalo's historic upper crust.
We’ll step off the bus once more at the historic Wilcox Mansion, famously known as the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site. Here, you’ll get an intimate look at the lavish lifestyle of a true Buffalo "Blue Blood."
The luxury and storytelling continue with more tales of opulent lifestyles on our return trip to the Richardson Hotel

In addition to seeing the renovated portions of the former Richardson Complex, you'll see the haunting spaces that are frozen in time. Experience what it was like to receive treatment at the Asylum.
